Upon arrival, I was greeted by a genuinely warm team, setting a welcoming tone for my stay. The main dining room, accommodating larger gatherings, offered a generous breakfast that consisted of seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. The quality of the produce was evident in every dish. I opted for the Sunday roast, a classic British dish that arrived promptly. It was prepared to order, showcasing the talented chefs’ skills and commitment to freshness. The Officers' Mess and the Vault are splendid for private dining, allowing guests to enjoy a more intimate atmosphere away from the lively pub bustle. For those looking for a casual bite, their hearty pies paired beautifully with creamy mash are noteworthy. The Hinds Head provided a fulfilling dining experience, seamlessly blending comfort and charm, making it a destination worth revisiting.
